CAVAN QUALITY
How does CAVAN furniture hold up under the elements? +
We've taken every possible precaution to extend the life of the product by using 100% grade-A teak and sealing it with our proprietary 7 layer protective coating system. In addition, our furniture is fully assembled at the workshop and not assembled in the partially constructed or "knockdown" method that is common with most outdoor furniture.  Furniture that is completely assembled at the workshop has numerous benefits including an impeccable fit and finish, fully sealed joints that will repel the elements, and enhanced structural integrity.
What kind of cushion fabric and stitching does CAVAN use? +
We offer a large variety of colors and patterns from Sunbrella, a leader in the outdoor fabric space.  These fabrics are durable, resistant to fading and breakdown, and easy to clean.  If you prefer to use a fabric from another brand or material we can work to make that happen too!
Where is it made? +
Our furniture is made in the Philippines.
Will the teak finish color change over time?+
Teak wood will naturally turn a silvery-grey over time.  Our coating system will prolong this natural change.
How long does it take to completely hand-craft a furniture unit? +
It takes about 40-45 days.

We love the challenge of customizing furniture to a particular customer's wants.  Please give us a call and let us know what you're looking for - we'll do our best to make it happen!

 

PAYMENT & TERMS
What's your return policy? +
We offer a 30-day return policy from customer delivery date.  Please refer to our refund policies section here for additional details.
Is there a product warranty? +
We offer a 30-day limited warranty that our furniture is free from material manufacturing defects. 
What form of payments do you accept?+
We accept all major credit cards, personal check, and Paypal.
 

 

SAMPLES & RECORDERS
Can I order teak wood and or fabric sample kits?+
Yes! We are happy to provide wood and fabric samples for a $10 shipping charge.
Can I order replacement cushions/cushion covers?+
Yes, please contact us to order replacement covers.

 

SHIPPING
Where do you ship to?+
We currently ship to the continental US.
How quickly will I receive my order?+
In stock merchandise will take 2-3 weeks for delivery.  Not in stock, large orders, or customized orders can take up to 8 - 10 weeks.

Do you sell to commercial clients?+
We love working with commercial property owners on developing furniture packages for their unique space.  Please contact us for additional information.
Do you have distributors/resellers? +
Yes, please contact us if you are interested in becoming our distributor
I'm an interior designer - how do I setup a trade account?+
Please email us the following: your full name, company name, business address, business telephone number, email address, company type (interior design, staging, etc), membership to design organization (ASID, AIA, IIDA, etc), and business or resale license in each state where the furniture is being sent.

Does CAVAN have any showrooms?+
We currently do not have a dedicated showroom but our pieces are for sale and displayed at locations in Phoenix and soon Los Angeles.  Please contact us for details.
